MCB

Miniature circuit breaker in CHINT provide the overload protection, short circuit protection and isolation. It is widely used in building power distribution, industrial power distribution, as well as control and protection for a variety of equipment with operating current not exceeding 125A. Key products series include: NB1, NBH8, DZ158, and NXB series, etc.

The main benefits include that of Extra-wide and complete range of MCBs to cover most applications and markets, Compliance to worldwide product standards, excellent breaking capacity, fast closing; long service time, Convenient installation, disassembly, contact on-off indication, higher security, envirenmental protection and energy saving.

FAQ
What's the difference of the tripping curves, B, C, and D?
B curve, the tripping current is 3-5In,it mainly protects for people and big length cables in TN and IT; C curve, the tripping current is 5-10In, it mainly protects for resistive and inductive loads with low inrush current; D curve, the tripping current is 10-20In,it protects for circuit which supply loads with high inrush current at the circuit closing, such as LV transformaers, breakdown lamps.
What's the meaning of the energy limiting class 3 under the mark of 6000 or 10000 breaking capacity?
The energy limit class is the Joule integral of circuit breaker when breaking large current, the energy limit class is devided into 3 classes, class 3 the highest. the higher is the energy limit class, the better is the performance of the breaker tripping capacity.
